About Michigan Native Butterfly Farm
Michigan Native Butterfly Farm was established to promote awareness of the life cycle, habitat, and conservation of indigenous butterfly species and raise healthy, vibrant Monarch, Painted Lady and native butterflies for education, exhibits, and memorable wedding, funeral and special occasion butterfly releases. We specialize in North American butterfly species for special event fundraisers and butterfly exhibits, butterfly houses and zoos.
We are dedicated to promoting public awareness through education and conservation efforts in our community and throughout the United States.
Michigan Native Butterfly Farm is a licensed wholesale and retail nursery and developed the Butterfly Gardens to Go collection of plants. We have a diverse product line designed to help create habitat that promotes the life cycle of butterflies ensuring that future generations will prosper. Each plant has been carefully selected to support the most common North American butterflies through each stage of development.
We are small, family owned businesses dedicated to providing high quality products and excellent service to our customers.
We are members of the Association for Butterflies (AFB) and the International Butterfly Breeders Association (IBBA), and adhere to strict guidelines for the rearing, care, and shipment of live butterflies for release.
Tamara serves on the Association for Butterflies (AFB) Conservation, Education, and Mini Grant committees.
