Gulf Fritillary Butterfly Jewelry Bead
The Gulf Fritillary is a dazzling butterfly with striking, vibrant orange and black wings with flashy silver and metallic spots on the underside of their elongated wings, resembling stained glass. They prefer gardens and woodlands throughout much of the Southern United States and Latin America. This butterfly is migratory, moving northward in spring forming summer breeding colonies, then migrating south to Florida in late summer through autumn.
These unique, Pandora style beads represent native and tropical butterflies and moths. Each is created individually from polymer clay finished with a protective glaze. No two beads are exactly alike. Each bead comes in an organza bag with an info card about the butterfly. Hand made in the USA.
