Celebrate the gift of new beginnings by watching the metamorphosis of a Tiger Swallowtail chrysalis as it emerges into a beautiful butterfly! Each box comes with the Native American Legend and instructions. Available with flower or button embellishment – please indicate preference in comment area.

An American Indian Legend: If anyone desires a wish to come true, they must capture a butterfly and whisper that wish to it. Since butterflies make no sound, they can’t tell that wish to anyone but the Great Spirit. By making the wish and releasing the butterfly, it will be taken to the heavens and granted.

Available in Michigan to ship or local pick-up only.

Please note that weather impacts the success of a butterfly release and temperatures must be forecasted for a minimum of 65 degrees. Butterflies do best when released in a sunny location.

Monarchs are available May through September and can only be shipped East of the Continental Divide.
