This necklace was chosen to be included in the celebrity gifts bags at GBKs 2015 MTV Movie Awards Celebrity Gift Lounge! 100 of these real butterfly wing necklaces were gifted to the celebrity attendees and nominees at the MTV Movie Awards pre-award show event. Each butterfly wing is embedded under a 18x25mm magnified glass cabochon and set in a large 49×84 antique silver statement pendant setting. The long chain measures approximately 28 inches and is meant to hang low.Your necklace will arrive in its own organza gift bag with literature on the species of butterfly. *NOTE* NO butterflies are harmed in the making of this jewelry. All butterflies are raised on butterfly farms and sanctuaries and allowed to live their full lifespan, which averages about one month, and then collected and sold so that their beauty can live on.
